| Comperio names Iain Barnett as new Managing Director |

Comperio Research – the research arm of IMG – recently promoted Iain Barnett to the position of Managing Director. Based in London, Barnett will oversee Comperio’s global network of offices, with direct responsibility for all business operations and strategy development. His new role follows on from a successful ten month stint in Melbourne, where he was tasked with setting up the company’s Australian office.
Barnett, who has enjoyed a fast track career trajectory at Comperio, joined the company in 1997 and swiftly rose through the ranks to the position of Research Director.
As Managing Director, Barnett will report to Andrew Wildblood, Senior Vice President, IMG/IMG Media who commented: “I am very pleased to see Iain at the helm of Comperio. His commitment to the company over the past eleven years has enabled him to play a central role in making Comperio the successful brand that it is today. With exciting times ahead of us, I have every confidence that Iain’s wide ranging expertise, combined with his fine leadership skills, will ensure Comperio continues to prosper, diversify and challenge for market share”.
