Comperio Research opens for business in Australia

Comperio Research – the media and market research arm of IMG – has extended its global footprint with the opening of a new office in Melbourne, Australia.

This is the latest move in Comperio’s plans for international expansion, and follows on from the opening of a Hong Kong office in February.

Comperio already boasts a solid client base in Australia, having worked with high profile brands such as Tourism Victoria, Telstra Dome, MFS Australian Open and Tennis Australia.

The new Melbourne office will deliver a full-service quantitative and qualitative offering, and will be headed up by Iain Barnett, Research Director, who was previously based at Comperio’s headquarters in London. Iain has worked at Comperio for the past nine years, and has been instrumental in the development of the company’s business operations.

Commenting on the move to Australia, Iain Barnett said: "Comperio is a fast-growing business, and we recognise the need for constant expansion if we are to strengthen our worldwide presence. Australia was an obvious choice for a new office, as it has a mature sports and sponsorship market, which is ideally suited to our diverse portfolio of products and services.
